Bio-diesel Fuel Bio-diesel fuel is the diesel alternate fuel which is refined from the pure or used vegetable oil.
It is the fuel to have considered environment with low CO2 emission. In Japan, to use the used vegetable oil. But in Europe, to use pure vegetable oil.


How made?
First, it must be removed the impurities of water and so on.
Next, it mixes methanol and base-catalyst to the vegetable oil and it heats them and it does an ester exchange reaction.
Lastly, it removes glycerine, remaining methanol and so on from the product and it takes out a fatty acid methyl ester.
This fatty acid methyl ester becomes Bio-diesel fuel.




Low CO2 emission
The raw materials of biodiesel fuel are vegetable oil. Well, what is vegetable oil made from?
As you know, it is a rapeseed and corn and so on.
For those plants to grow up, the atmospheric CO2 is necessary. In short, it is a photosynthesis.
Therefore, it got carbon (C) of the vegetable oil which is made from there from atmospheric CO2. Also, the fatty acid methyl ester which is biodiesel fuel, too, is same.
It is possible to imagine unconciously and it is.... It is so. Even if it burns Bio-diesel fuel, the quantity of atmospheric CO2 doesn't increase.
In the past, the diesel engine is more excellent in the aspect of the CO2 emission than the gasoline engine. The possibility that it is possible to keep the CO2 concentration of the atmospheric is high when using Bio-diesel fuel for the diesel engine.

The plant absorbs atmospheric CO2 and grows up. It makes vegetable oil with plant. It uses, being good with tempura and so on. It uses used vegetable oil as the raw materials of Bio-diesel fuel. Then, it returns CO2 to the atmosphere. Surely, it is sustainable fuel.



How to use
As for bio diesel fuel, the property of diesel fuel resembles.Therefore, it refuels a diesel engine only. Also, it is possible to use even if it adds to diesel fuel.
But, moisture in fuel and the difference of the viscosity may become a problem. Specifically, the trouble of the fuel filter and the rubber kind seems reported. It will be improved by the efforts of the manufacturer while near.

At present, in this team, the trouble doesn't occur.
